Introducing Asian Fusion

February 28, 2020 by Tommy's Superfoods Leave a Comment

This year, we are proud to introduce a few new products. The first one is a new vegetable combination to love! Introducing Asian Fusion!

Asian Fusion cooked simple

What’s In the Bag

Our new Asian Fusion medley is full of taste, from the veggies to the carefully hand-crafted spice combinations. Inside each bag, you’ll find broccoli, edamame, cabbage, red bell pepper, snap peas, carrots, and water chestnuts. The Asian 5-spice blend is paired with a dash of Non-GMO tamari and sesame oil for an exciting flavor without all the heavy sauces. You’ll forget your typical Asian takeout when you add a bag of Asian Fusion to your favorite dishes!

How to Prepare Asian Fusion

Like most of our other veggies, we recommend preparing your Asian Fusion on the stovetop. Simply add a tablespoon of olive oil to your skillet, add the veggies, and cook uncovered on medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes. From there, you can get creative with the way you use Asian Fusion! Here are some of our tips for adding this new combo to your plate.

Stir Fry

To make Asian Fusion stir fry, simply prepare your vegetables according to the instructions on the bag. Then, mix together your stir fry sauce or skip the sauce since they are perfectly seasoned already. We like this recipe from Cookie and Kate! Add your sauce to the veggies and stir until well blended. Once your vegetables are done, you can serve them with a side of rice, or keep it simple with a plate full of just veg. It’s totally up to you!

Power Bowls

Another of our favorite recipes for Asian Fusion is a power bowl! These bowls are easy to make, and even easier to customize. Perfect for dinners with all different kinds of taste buds. To make your power bowl, just prepare your Asian Fusion on the stovetop. Then, pair it with your favorite grains, proteins, and toppings. You can add rice, noodles, tofu, chicken, shrimp, pepper flakes, peanuts, tahini sauce, soy sauce, and more; the possibilities are endless! Take a look at this rice bowl recipe from Fare Isle for some inspiration!

Veggie Wraps

You can also use Asian Fusion to create some tasty veggie wraps! Start by cooking your vegetables in a skillet. Once they’re done, you can add rice, pepper flakes, or even your favorite proteins, and then wrap them in lettuce, rice paper, or seaweed. Check out this recipe for veggie fresh rolls from This Savory Vegan for some ideas on creating your wrap. These are the perfect grab and go meal for busy days!
