This Italian-inspired recipe can be made with either chicken breasts or a pork tenderloin. Pesto-topped baked chicken or pork makes for the perfect addition to our root fusion medley of beets, turnips, carrots, and apples.
Tommy’s Presto Pesto Chicken/Pork
- 1 package Tommy’s Root Fusion
- 2 chicken breasts or 1 pork tenderloin
- 2-4 Tbs. Pesto
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cuisine Type: Italian
- Bake Tommy’s Root Fusion on 400 degrees until fully cooked – about 20 minutes.
- Add 1 tablespoon pesto to each chicken breast or 2 tablespoons per pork tenderloin. Bake in oven while Tommy’s Root Fusion is cooking.
- Presto. Pesto chicken with root fusion is served.
